Rated GOOD by Ofsted, we are a two-form entry junior school with approximately 240 children on roll. The majority of our children feed into our school from South Wootton Infant school, with whom we have close links.
The Governors’ Vision for the school is:
To develop well-rounded confident and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their full potential.
We will do this by providing a welcoming, happy, safe and supportive environment in which everyone is equal, and all achievements are celebrated.
South Wootton Junior School is a great place to work with a positive and inclusive ethos, fabulous children and a very supportive staff and governors.
We still enjoy our Local Authority status and the relative flexibilities which this allows us. Through our child-centred approach we provide a rich and varied curriculum which aims to meet the needs of every child. We have an excellent pastoral team who provide meaningful and effective support for children and their families.
