Business Analyst – Law Firm - Kent – 60 -70k 1 Year FTC - possibility of perm
Fantastic opportunity to join an expanding UK Law firm as a Business Analyst. Applicants must have experience of working in the Legal arena, either on site or for a consultancy or a MSP.
Reviewing and understanding departmental and firm wide business objectives.
Researching and designing solutions to achieve business objectives, as set out in the business plan, by enhancing the use of existing technology or introducing new technology as appropriate.
Analysing the firm’s working practices to determine how they currently operate departmentally and firm wide.
Identifying any problems with the current business processes.
Adopting a firm wide approach wherever possible rather than proposing different solutions for different departments. Presenting potential solutions, identifying potential benefits, costs and risks.
In addition, the role will: Oversee the implementation of approved process improvements / new solutions.
Define business success criteria to ensure any process improvement / new solution meets the business requirement.
Periodically review revised processes and implemented solutions to ensure benefits continue to be realised.
Qualifications/education
Business Analyst qualification ideally BPR and or Six Sigma 3 years’ experience in legal services Degree level education is desirable as well as operational experience of Project Management and Business Analysis
